BIO
Juniper is a clever four-year-old South Steens mare with just the right amount of spunk. She has a charming cuddle-bug personality on the ground and is confident under-saddle. Despite her young age, she is already used as a wrangler horse for working around the ranch because of her laid back personality. On the trail, she is experienced riding out alone and in groups through all sorts of rough country. In her arena work, she’s currently fine tuning her body control and collection.
JUNIPER’S STORY
Juniper was rounded up and removed from the 130,000-acre South Steens Herd Management Area in Oregon about 70 miles southwest of Burns. She was purchased at auction after a training competition. Her adopter cared deeply for her but, due to life changes and financial challenges, she needed to find Juniper a new home.
